Ms. Lune - Casa Assistant and French Teacher
Born in the mountains in France but raised in Belgium, Lune studied biology with the emphasis on education. She has traveled all over Europe, Canada, Fiji, New Zealand, The Arctic and the USA and was a joint leader of an expedition in the Arctic. After teaching university students on a research vessel she went back to Belgium to teach science to middle school and high school. In 2011 she arrived on the island as a naturalist working for the famous Marine biologist, Jean-Micheal Cousteau, where she taught all the different ecosystems on this wonderful island for ages 4 to adults. By offering a wide ranges of possibilities she wants children to discover and develop their special gifts and talents. In addition to the typical academic subjects you can expect craft, music, social education, exploring, and sport which find their way into her weekly classes. Besides teaching Lune loves to spend time with her little boy and husband exploring the world.
