I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and attended R.M.I.T. University studying Art after my high school years. I traveled to Europe upon completion and worked as a nanny as well as studying at Central Saint Martins school of Art. My passion for working with children led me to the Montessori College in London where I attended and completed an International Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching for 3-6 year olds. From the years 1998- 2002, I worked at Parkgate Preparatory School, in the capacity of Pre Prep and Year1 teacher. In 2003 I relocated to Grand Cayman and I have been a full time mother to my 3 children for the past 15 years. This has been the most rewarding time and experience of my life as I have grown as a person through caring for, and guiding my children, to become happy, healthy and conscientious people. I have been heavily involved with voluntary and charity work since arriving in Cayman with the South Sound Mother's and Toddler's group, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Cayman Crisis Center, Visual Arts Society, National Gallery and the Humane Society. I am a massive Yogi and enjoy meditation, Chakra work and Life Coaching. I have written 7 short stories for children on the Chakras to help introduce them to the beautiful and amazing creation that lives within us all. Namaste.
