Megan Boyes Casa Teacher

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Megan studied her 0-12-year NQF Level 6 Montessori Diploma at Mercy Headstart Teachers training college from 2013 to 2015. After finishing her studies, she moved to London for 2 years, where she was a full-time nanny. Megan arrived in Grand Cayman in Feb 2018, after being given the opportunity to start her teaching career at the beautiful Island Montessori School. 

One thing she absolutely loves about teaching is that no day is ever the same. “We are not only the ones teaching the children, but I feel like I learn something new from them every day too”. Megan loves the Montessori philosophy, where learning through exploration, freedom of movement, and choice, makes for independent and confident children. Megan lives in the Cayman with her husband Jason. During their spare time, they love travelling, going to the beach and being outdoors. Her hobbies include dancing, horse riding and swimming.
