Toddler Program

18 months and up, must be walking independently.

Movement is the key to toddler happiness and development. Our nurturing, experienced Montessori teachers implement a curriculum designed to satisfy their social, physical and cognitive needs for learning and play. Our teachers pay special attention to each child's individual speech and language development, their fine and gross motor skills and social interactions while encouraging their natural drive for independence. 

We are delighted to offer our children an abundance of space, both indoors and outdoors, enabling them to satisfy their natural curiosity and need to move.

In limited cases, we may be able to offer January starts, however this is only for a small group of children who are not of age to commence classes with us in September.

Please note that from September 2027, Island Montessori Casa students will be given priority entry into Reception classes our sister school, Island Primary. Students must be attending Island Montessori for the full school year in order for priority entry to be applied.
