Vinette Dickens Nest & Toddler Teacher

Vinette, originally from Jamaica, moved to the beautiful Cayman Islands in 1992. Upon her arrival she was employed as a nanny for 15 wonderful years. It was in this role that she discovered her passion for the important job of helping mold young lives. 

In 2007 she was employed at First Baptist Wee Care and worked there for 13 years nurturing many children in the 0-4 classrooms. Her children all became the “loves of her life” and she has a particular love and devotion for the toddler years. Many of our families recognize Vinette fondly from their early days at Wee Care before moving to Island Montessori and have been thrilled to have her in their families lives once again. 

Vinette cherishes the times she has with children and endeavors to make it productive as well as fun. 

In her spare time, Vinette loves to read and challenge herself with knitting blankets.
