Jacinda Simms Casa Assistant Teacher

Born and raised in Grand Cayman, Jacinda graduated high school in 2017 and started working at the Cayman YMCA in 2018 as an after school instructor for 4 years. It was at the YMCA that Jacinda found her passion for working with children and it opened a whole new world for her. She worked with the YMCA program as an after school instructor, and was involved in supporting the children through a range of curriculum based activities.

In 2021 Jacinda completed her Montessori AMI certification and joined Island Montessori in our Casa program where has enjoyed being able to implement her studies into the classroom.

When Jacinda is not at school, she enjoys doing yoga, journaling, photography and spending time with my family.
