Alicia De Bruyn Casa Teacher

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Alicia completed matric in 2017. While pursuing a Bachelor of Social Science degree, majoring in Political Science and Psychology, she worked as a Sports Intern, where a passion for working with young people began to grow.

Inspired by this passion, Alicia went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Since then, she has gained experience teaching both infant and junior primary students, with a specialty in English and is dedicated to creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every learner feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Outside of the classroom, Alicia enjoys running, reading, and spending time by the ocean.

Alicia believes that helping little people become the best they can be, so they can grow into the best big people they can be, is how we change the world.
